2010/01/23 Centennial Klondike Derby

Troop 108 served as host for almost 50 sleds, in one of the best attended Klondike Derbies in recent memory. The weather was perfect (except for a noticeable lack of snow), and everybody learned something new about the Winter Olympics!

Christmas In Iraq

Troop 108 received the following message from the brother of a soldier in Iraq:

Happy New Year everyone! I just saw a video clip of the WPIX news from their segment, "Christmas in Iraq". In the clip, my brother, Major John McAfee, mentioned you as one of his supporters in the Adopt-a-Soldier program and I wanted to personally thank you all for your support of him and all of our troops. Your thoughtfulness is not noticed only by the troops who directly benefit from your generosity, but by every friend and family member who are awaiting their safe return. Thanks again and God Bless you all.

2009/11/08 Pancake Breakfast Success!

Troop 108 continued its tradition of setting the fundraising bar higher and higher. This year we once again broke all previous records! If you attended, donated, or help out, we’d like to say “Thank you for your support of scouting!”

Sunday, October 18th Explorer Post 7 out of the Lincoln Park Airport will be holding their inaugural meeting and official launch of their brand new Post. Everyone is invited to come early and take advantage of the EAA Young Eagle Day starting at 9am. Meeting will begin at 1pm and conclude at 3pm.
